Favorite T Station: Charles/MGH — it’s so lovely to see everyone look up and out on the water and kind of sigh. (For equal and opposite energy, pull into Boylston on the Green Line.)
One Hour in Boston: Grab something iced from 1369 to fuel a quick bike up and down the Charles. Stop wherever you think it’s prettiest and commence people/goose watching.

Favorite T Station: Harvard, because emerging from the tunnel, outbound, after sitting idle at that hard turn in the tracks always feels like a victory--and then (sometimes) adventure awaits.
One Hour In Boston: In Boston proper, I'd browse the Brattle Book Shop's open-air/parking lot section, then hop around the corner for a beer at Democracy Brewing. In Cambridge, closer to home, I would pop into Million Year Picnic for another browse, and keep an ear out for some busking in Brattle or the green in front of Peet's/Grendel's. In Somerville, where I live, I'd stroll Bow Market, crush an empanada or pierogi and a beer from Remnant, and chat with whichever shop tenders had time for a chat!

Favorite T Station: Forrest Hills — points for the beautiful “NEXT TRAIN” light up sign, easy access to the Arboretum, commuter rail/bus access.
One Hour In Boston: Scarf an everything bagel scone and coffee from Broadsheet en route to the Harvard Museums – the art and natural history ones yes but don’t sleep on the Carpenter Center for Visual Arts and its movie theater.
